Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Nap'Sack ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Nap'Sack is a free puzzle adventure game where players solve optimization puzzles by selecting items to maximize value within a weight constraint. The app includes adventure mode, daily challenges, time attack mode, collectible characters, and leaderboard features.

Accounts

You may play Nap'Sack anonymously using an automatically generated player ID. Optionally, you may create an account with an email address and username to enable cross-device syncing and personalized leaderboard display. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Usernames must be between 3 and 20 characters and can be changed once per day.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate leaderboards, scores, or game data through unauthorized means.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the app.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's servers or networks.
• Choose usernames that are offensive, misleading, or impersonate others.

Game Data and Progress

Your game progress, including puzzle attempts, scores, stars, and gameplay interactions, is stored locally on your device and synced to our servers. We reserve the right to reset progress, modify star calculations, or adjust leaderboard rankings to maintain fair play and game balance.

In-Game Currency

Stars are an in-game currency earned through gameplay. They can be spent on collectible characters in the My Nap'Sac feature. Stars have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or refunded.

Intellectual Property

All content in Nap'Sack, including but not limited to graphics, game design, characters, text, and code, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Availability

We strive to keep Nap'Sack available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time without notice.

Leaderboards and Fair Play

We reserve the right to remove scores, reset leaderboards, or ban players who are found to be cheating or manipulating game data. All leaderboard decisions are final.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.
